Isolated Visitors by Derek Dingle

Richard's Almanac by Richard Kaufman
Volume 1, Number 11, July 1983 Page 89 et seq.

Personal Comment: I don't like the visitors plot by Larry Jennings that much. It always feels like a cute idea rather than a fully grown idea. But Derek's handling is straight forward and I like it.

Difficulty: 3/5

  1. This is incorrect. Great trick, not trying to be the prick critique guy. But your addition is with the wrong hand, making it totally obvious.

Also the ending is incorrect. The whole idea is that "the hand just needs to go forward to get rid of the kings".

Both beginning and ending are constructed so that the packets appear far away, with no need to "drop" and "be quick about it"

I still love you though. I just wanted to point that out.

  2. Sent you a mail. Just my opinion....but what makes Dingle's version so great is sort of "missed" here.
