Interesting. I think one benefit to ending with the DL switch-out is that you could make the final change happen away from the deck. That said, I do like your sequence better.
One thing that could happen, for instance, is opening with the magician doing three fancy productions of three selected cards, and then putting the cards back in the deck, whereupon the spectator reveals the three cards... maybe the first two through self-forcing methods, and the third ending up in their pocket (if you forced one of the original three, then the method here is obvious).
